Alright professors, you still failed to answer the question. We WILL be replaced at our jobs by machines. Samething happened in farming as I already said. Back in the 1800's most of the people in the western world were still farmers, but now they are not due to technology; thus this....
------------------------------------------------------------
The creation, destruction, implementation, developement, manufacturing of technology creates MORE jobs.
------------------------------------------------------------
is wrong, and as I said NOBODY will work because there will be machines manufacturing for them, and taking their jobs. That's the whole damn point, and now that people will have no jobs, they will not be able to have food unless the machine owners share the money with the unemployed. Get it?

So everyone will program? There will be 6,000,000,000 positions just for programmers? It's like having 1,000 people to design one car, but these days you can have one guys design a car on his own with a computer.

Looks like someone didn't care to read the first post in this topic, since I have just shown that it could work. Thus, the statement you just posted makes no sense without any type of reasonable support.

Yes and no. You keep taking my posts literally, word for word. By programming I meant tv programs, i.e. actors, writers, production assistants, etc, the works. I sited tv as a micro economy, not a macro, just to make a quick point. This isnt a disertation, just an informal discussion. Apply my reply to the economy as a whole, with many industries trasforming into many industries, and I said the same thing you did, just in my words, not yours.
And if you want to be literal, no, one guy doesnt design a car by himself on a computer. You have a team that each has its specialty (frame, powertrain, electrical, yada, yada, yada) and then you need to apply overheads for the admin support, marketing, executive teams, etc. But we dont really want to be literal, do we?

Kids: ''Communism!''

machines take over?
do you see how stupid AI players are biggrin:
if we ever did have to go to war against machines it would be guile and deceit all the way, computers are stupid strategists they think linear and cannot adapt.

Is this a discussion spooge? Or just listen to what spooge says. You asked for thoughts. I gave you mine. You tell me I'm wrong. Lets talk despots and dictatorships.

Yeah they'll run into the side of a building and keep their legs moving and not find a way to go around for a few hours.

Well, not everyone in the world will be an actor, writer, or a production assistant. I think that, that industry will always belong to the elite few. In terms of the car, I'm pretty sure a person can design a can on his own. Not build, but design, eh actually a person can build a car on their own too.
