I don't like to get pirated software, the companies who make the good games deserve the money. Plus, it would take ages to download when my maximum DL speed is 25 kb/sec

yup, hell they take up too much space on the rack anyways, places have like 50 copies of that but barely any copies of every other game there is aside from warcraft 3 where they often have close to 100 copies sitting on the rack.
and why is it that old games can still cost 69 dollars!? or that at EB you can get Star wars jedi outcast for 49 dollars new yet the pre-owned version is 59!!? wassup wid dat?...
Ed care to pm me and hint me to where i might find it?

Wow, that's weird. Here, the maximum for games is pretty much $45, and when games come out new, I can get 'em even cheaper. For example, I just bought No One Lives Forever 2 and Hitman 2 for $39.99, NHL 2003 for $29.99, and Age of Mythology for $34.99 Well, you do live in Canada...

exactly. Once you factor in the exchange its about the same. maybe a bit more for us up here.
Like civ3. GOTY edition is around 40ish, plus if you want to be able to play online you have to drop another 49 bucks!
And they came out with another addition to everquest!! im getting sick of seeing that damn game. People kill themselves because of playing it. Dammit I wont kill myself but Id sure kill some people if it would get that danm game off the shelves, its annoying, the game sucks (i have the original plus one expansion) and doesnt deserve to be anywhere near a computer.

Uhm - I'll agree that RAVEN SHIELD looks nice, but have you taken a look at the ROGUE SPEAR community? Nearly non-existent mate. It may be a game with more depth, but UT2003 is NOT sweating RAVEN SHIELD.
And you can get UNREAL TOURNAMENT anywhere, GROKSTER, AOL PRIVATE ROOMS (this is what I use since I can download the shit at my leisure and at a constant rate), hell even mIRC if you're willing to put up with those fags shit.

Yeah, I agree Cool Fool. The only way I would ever get pirated software if they offered no demo and I would use it for preview purposes and then ditch it. Or if the demo is a little bland and I want to try more or something.

I'd only get pirated software if I wanted it that badly and didn't have money.
