Obergrenadier is Offline Senior Member Posts: 118 Join Date: Jan 2002 Location: Neu Orleans	08-16-2001, 08:09 AM the M1 was accurate to approximately 460 yards. on the other hand, the Gewehr 98k was accurate beyond 840 meters. M1 Garand was not as good as the Springfield (accurate up to 600 meters), i dont know why the allies sacrificed accuracy for ROF... doesnt make much sense
