wow, ive answered this question so many times already. you people should scan the threads before asking things.

i believe there is a certain mod(s) that is causing a conflict with the game. some people have it, some people don't. the people who don't are obviously the ones who are telling you to just shoot the tank 2-3 times. for the people who do have the troublesome mod(s), a quick fix is to just relocate all your downloaded mods in the main folder to another folder. that should do the trick.

i wonder ... might the mod that enables flak 88's to be usable in mp games be the problem?? script conflict? ah who knows!
