well now that you mention the Thompson,it also had a 50 rd drum magazine,as featured in many Gangster movies,however these were rarely used,if all by the US forces because of their complex loading and size.And what ever happened to the carbine?? you know the one that was magazine fed.This gun was used by the US military all the way thru korea and into Vietnam,when it was replaced by the M16.That would have been a welcome addition,as this gun was a real treat to shoot,low recoil,light weight,and FAST Reloading.DoD has this weapon,I have seen Screenshots with it.....NO I do not play DoD MOH is enough for me.....
