They need to update the software so you can assign the side buttons to a specific keystroke like the Microsoft does. Like I said in an earlier post this is the best optical mouse made. Nothing comes close. It will even work on glass. I almost kept my Microsoft Intellimouse and rotated them but it was a pain due to the fact both software programs werent compatible with each other. So I sent back the Logitech.

Lets wait for a software update than... this mouse work to well , i won't sent it back.
