I've got a SB Live! 5.1, pretty good card. My what the difference over onboard sound. I had some weird speakers that were crap until Christmas, when I got the Inspire 5.1 speakers. They kick ass, although I have only been able to get the center speaker to work in the Surround Mixer test, and in Unreal 2, doesn't work for DVDs or anything else for some reason. I want to get an Audigy Gamer, it's only $70 here. Might be on my next thing to get list.
