OMG the ignorance of some people here is amazing.

I believe it were the French who kicked the Muslims off Spain so if anyone owes anyone anything WE owe the French. Some people may bleieve that world history only began 200 years ago.

People must be saying "No, no, surely not....NO ONE WAS ALIVE THEN!!!"

The croissant came from a battle when the French wanted to insult the Muslims by making bread in the shape of their symbol...the crescent moon. Hence it caught on and blah blah blah.


French wine, food, women, architecture, champagne, fashion etc etc. The list goes on.


LOL LOL!!! This thread reminds me of that scene in Monty Python: Life of Brian.
