I think the guys they interviewed were stoned.

Changing the currency will do nothing for the economy. At least not how they present it. If the dollar is weak, it will buy less euros when converted. There is no free lunch and you cant just magically create wealth by changing a bill. Currency values naturally fluctuate based on supply and demand, markets, economy, etc.

Are you sure this was on the news? There are so many things wrong with this assumption that I dont even know where to start.
