The town i live in, Mornington, doesn't have any Modern Art to speak of, but in the local park, there is a statue of the British explorer Matthew Flinders, and from one angle, it looks like he only has one leg. I'll post pictures of it if i can one day be bothered. Which i doubt.
Additionally, if you ask 9 out of 10 Teenagers in the area who the statue is, they will almost certainly answer 'Napoleon'
I fear for the future hake:

Thats actually quite a clever statue. a business man who can see no evil hear no evil speak no evil. that would be good modern communication.

in my town we have cannons, and cannon balls placed everywhere. Ah, IF a studnt dies we usually put up atleast a plaque, tree, or bench in their name. THats outside. Apparenty there is a world famous art gallery(maybe im exagerating a little) called the Sharon Arts Center or something like that. There is some funky stuff in there.

There's a statue of a guy who found an overland route to India but I forget his name, people usually put a traffic cone on his head. oOo:

There is a group of bronze children about 6/7 years old linking hands in a circle. its a bit wierd and probably some old guy wanks over it.
In one of my local malls some of the benches used to be taken up by bronze old couples smiling or holding hands. all far and well, but they took up most of the god damn seats and they werent even real!
