Still not holding my breath.

I understand it that the Thompson used in WWII could not use a drum magazine, am I correct? So wtf is this shit we are seeing? That's right! More useless fucking EA, make-a-quick buck shit!

Only WWII game I'm looking forward to is Call of Duty.

Aside from that I'm done with WWII games.

Nope, as far as i know any thompson is capable of takiung a drum magazine, its the same width as the stick mag so it fits into them all.

The Thompson M1A1 cannot accomodate a drum magazine. I the M1928 is the one that EA is trying to potray I guess. Those are by far the worst textures I've ever seen on a tommy.

They made versions with a horizontal foregrip too, M1928A1 I think. What I wanna know was how common were the drum mags, I hear they were something of a rarity even in the early years.

^Totally made up weapon. M1A1's couldn't accomodate a drum magazine and the production of drum mags were stopped in 1942.

Lets just cut through the crap, bickering, pissing and moaning. The game is gonna be a MOHAA expansion pack that will cost as much as a new game. People will stupidly buy it and EA will produce an expansion pack for it to include some shit that should have been in MOAHAA, Spearhead, and whatever the hell there calling this new one. Bullshit assault isnt it?

Download it. Why? Because if EA hadnt fucked over the MOHAA community by with-holding the SDK, some freelance group would have made this. Made it better, and probably made it faster.

the United States Marine Corps did indeed use eary model Thompsons in the war, the Navy department was the first military branch to order the tommy gun and the Marines were the first to get them. I believe Marine raiders used the drum mag on the Makin island raid.

British Commandoes also used the "gangster" tommy in the early war.
