When you insert a game it stores the entire contents of the disk on the larger HD he installed. If you boot it up without a disk you get a menu of the stored games. Pick a game from the list and you're off and running. I couldn't tell you much more than that since I haven't been able to track him down since I saw it last... the bastich.
