It's the world we live in now. I think that, if Kids are taught about AIDS from a young age, not only warned, but educated as well, then they will become more accepting in the long run. Hell, that arguement was probably applied to Negroes 50 years ago :P.

i agree with some of what you said. if you teach kids tolerance at an early age, the better off they will be. but kids who watch the muppets are prolly between 4-8 years old or something like that. they dont know anything about AIDS, sex or stuf like that. kids should prolly get that talk later on. I dont think including a muppet with AIDS will teach them much about the disease or tolerance, thats the parents job, and it seems to be a growing epidemic of parents expecting television and school to teach tolerance and other virtues to their children so they dont have to.
