He was right, the only person in Slipknot with any considerable talent is thier drummer.

Slipknot shows no orginality whasoever. They seem to take the stance that: The lower tuned the guitars, the heavier it is... which is just not true. That mixed with the silly mask gimmick promises a band aiming at a clear teenage demographic.

I listen to all Music not just so called crappy metal. I love hendrix too, and floyd and many others. But my mind is not closed like yours. I have been a musician longer than you have been alive. so I would say I know more about it than you.


i just stood up for them bands because I relize they have talent. you seem to assume there my favorite bands.I like all music. a couple slipknot members play in stonesour check them out. they are more simplified, and your weak mind might I say might grasp them.


The guitar player is very good, he is a teacher of it and can play like Via, or satch. but he doesnt in slipknot. I agree their 2nd cd blows. and for your info most newer bands downtune.

I will take it back about your mind, its your ear thats crap. but then again there is alot going on in slipknot and your brain may not grasp it, and it will seem like noise to you. maybe your kids, kids will be evolved enough to grasp it. but by then there will be something that they cant grasp, and history repeats its self.
