Where is the line between church and state being crossed. The left has yet to explain this one, and I doubt they ever will. It's simply easy to say "Har church and state seperation is being violated - we're gay - we're being prejudiced against", and the gullible masses will eat it up like candy.

Heres a news flash kids - Marraige is NOT a right. "Marraige" that the gay community is seeking is a governmen (state and federal) sponsored program that gives benefits such as tax breaks, next of kin status, power of attorney, and other juicy bits the the gay community wants to get their hands on. It has NOTHING to do with being recognized as a legitimate couple, or are we really supposed to believe that gay community wants a stamped piece of paper from the same group they're condemning. Right. Civil Unions are in place, and afford SOME of those rights and thats the way it should be. The Federal government AND the MAJORITY of this country should not have to be forced to change their beliefs or the standards because a publicity seeking dick of a mayor in San Francisco wants to piss on the MILLIONS of people who voted on Proposition 22 so that he can make headlines. Funny, when Democrats break the law for the "greater good" they're forward thinkers, when Bush sends troops to Iraq, he's a war mongorer.

Gotta love the sheep mentality of America.
