makin a sig is not just like drawing.
it can not be compared to van goghs paintings. he had a form of artistic abilty, and you have not. took an image, changed some color and added text? I know, that pretty much what i did at the beginning too, i even stll can do it at times. this was and is for me basically a way to learn photoshop, and in the future take my own photographies, edit them, and make it into some (bleh) artistic piece.

now, dont post your current shit up here, wait until you come up with something good and original.try do it in an tasteful way, and atleast many of the aa guys will accept you.
