I'm playing on 1024x768 - HIGH detail with little to no slowdown. Overall
very smooth. My hardware:

A64 3000+
KV8 MAX 3
1GB Corsair
Radeon 9800 Pro (128MB)
Audigy2 ZS (has no impact on sound though because it's all done by engine)
