Himmler is Offline Major Posts: 6,938 Join Date: Nov 2002 Location: Behind You...	08-17-2004, 07:32 PM you definatley want a sound card, especially for games and if you are using 5.1+ speakers. onboard sound will play music and what not, but with a good sound card you can set your sound high say for example on cod, and it takes a load off the cpu and puts it on the sound card and you will get 3D sound, alot better then onboard.
