Joe Satriani fucking TAUGHT Eddie Van Halen, Kirk Hammett, and Steve Vai. Kurt Cobain was like 12, Hammett was like 11. Jack White from the White Stripes was 17. come the fuck on.

there are too many categories to judge a guitarist, there is no GREATEST guitar player. its all preference. you can judge a guitar player by technique, speed, style, uniqueness, technical ability, emotion. too hard to judge a guitar player, let alone a GUITAR SOLO. its just crap.
