I shit you not. Back when I was 10, me and my dad went to a burger place in Tracy, California ( I live in Colorado now ) that was designed to look old fashioned, taking place in the '50's, yet it wasnt as Mexicans ran the store, and every 2 weeks they had a contest for a 5lb burger. Their monthly contest was that 5lb burger, a whopper of a milkshake, and fries. WE could of gotten have price if we had eaten the whole thing, but nearly didnt. We had been driving from the Mojave Desert, to check out where my dad was gonna work, and came back, and me and him had not eaten since lunch of the previous day, and Im betting it was around 7:00PM at the time. My dad was curious, so he got the 5 pounder, and it took us forever, but we ate nearly all of it, save for...I dunno hot to measure this...three "fistfulls" of burger. End of thy story. People have done it before, me and my dad watched them a lot, it was usually 30 year olds, or really huge guys, I mean...I used to think my dad was a huge guy, alt nearly 400 pounds, but these guys were GIGANTIC. I mean, they had to be scooted aorund in wheelchairs, because their legs couldsnt support themselves. AAnd these were the guys that ate the burger. Never knew how long it took them..I just recorded me and my dads time.

Of course he is lying, the diner that makes the famous 5 lb burger has never had one single patron finish it in one sitting ever. It's just too much meat to consume at one time.
