I'm not bashing anyone but I don't see much reason in body building. Your body is designed to do what it has to. Bodybuilding is just tricking your body into thinking that it needs the extra muscle. The only reason you need muscle for physical work/activity and when the only activity you do is lift weights it sounds a bit redundant.

I do it for a few reasons..
-I LOVE the feel of finishing that last rep that you didnt think you could do, its kinda like a runners high but from lifting.
-Yes, girls like a guy who is cut... not to mention being able to wear t-shirts, polos, and basketball jerseys without looking like a preadolencent boy in the arms and chest.
-I dont play sports year round, only intramurals in the fall and winter so it definitly helps keep me in shape.
-In daily life its nice to be able to lift things you otherwise would struggle with.
