2 is probably the best ... im not trying to be an ass but i just dont like any of them ...

you also have to think about what 2 is going to look like ... the grid is a good idea but its going to look strange cut off in a rectangle. also, you might wanna think about using some color to give them some punch. they just look too boring imo given how you plan to use them.
