Leafs have been the same for the last decade, no matter what they do they have trouble even getting to the Eastern Finals. They lost Nieuwendyk and Roberts, but picked up that with Allison and O'Neil, but then went and lost Leetch. So essentially they're the same team as a few years ago except they now are going to have to find chemistry and hope it sticks.
As for the man in love with concussions, Lindros, I think it's a huge mistake to bring him to Toronto. Truthfully, I wouldn't by suprised if he had a pretty decent season this next year too, but the next time he gets nailed he is done. If that happens, then you mid aswell had just dumped your money into Lake Huron.
In my opinion, most of the Canadian teams are worse off or the same as they were before except for maybe Calgary and Edmonton.

You really think that Lindros is going to continue skating with his head down? No, He even told the Media he has been working for the past year about working on his handling with his Head Up.
Hes going to be fine this year.

lindros will die next time he gets a bad hit. I gurantee it.[/quote:d9faf]

I loved the guy when he was on Philly, but my attitude towards him changed once he had that dispute with Bobby Clarke. I don't really have anything against him, but he is so prone to major damage. You know how his brother ended up so...

id make him 3rd line at best or every 2 shifts etc. you might get some mileage out of him, but he will have to play graceful as shit for an oafish fella.

I don't think Lindros has many years left in him anyways, so it doesn't really matter if he changed his playing style or not. But that's what I think...

Boston still has some work to do with their RFAs, but if all goes well the B's should be a legit contender this year. I am a little disappointed we let Brian Rolston go, however. The free agent frenzy also didn't live up to the hype that was built by the Boston media, as they made it out to be the perfect time for the B's to go out and land some big name players (IE Forsberg, Modano, etc.) but instead we wound up with some second rate free agents that, although good, still leave the fans wondering if the Bruins will EVER spend the money nescessary to bring a cup to the new "Garden." Good to see that Leech and McEachern have come home.
By the way, Lindros is still one of my favorite players in the league, here's to hoping that he has a productive, healthy season with the Leafs. rock:

Lindros was the best player in the NHL for years, I see him comingback with a very productive season with his intense training & the fact that he STRAPS HIS HELMET On NOW !.
