The biggest problem for me is that they are in a way TOO hip for their own good. None of us are super-film-sluts so alot of the homages and stylistic choices arent gonna work for us.

BILL vs THE BRIDE reminded me of THE EMPEROR vs MACE WINDU in SITH - for fucking years all this talk about how much of a fucking BAD ASS The Emp is. . .and he turns out to be a fucking pussy.
