As for console vs. pc : I think PC wins because they have come out with a larger number of good FPS. Consoles have (within this decade) come out with very few great FPS games, in fact I'd call Halo 1&2 the only great FPS games to be released in the last decade for console, and that's because the did something different that no one else can seem to mimic.

The first 2 MOH's came out on console in 1999 and 2000 - They were fucking wicked....and wasn't Goldeneye 64's release within the last decade...?

I'm sure there are more widely regarded console FPS games than just Halo 1 & 2.....I personally thought those games (especially the 2nd one) were totally over-rated...
