What part of maine? eek: Northern main is basically 50/50 canada/usa, Coastal = tourist mecca, central = Im sorry you are moving there, south west = Ship yards up the wazoo, and Western(next to NH) is an ok area. I've been all over Maine and in general its a rather nice state. Just the right size, not to large, yet not that small. The people are nice(except for tourists), So many excellent places to camp or go kayaking etc. And the lbsters are cheap as hell and the best you will ever have.
