Gay-Z's part of the reason why its still so hard to market decent rap music, because the idea that gangsta/pimp rap is the only way to sell records has been reinforced by idiot 10 year old white kids who keep on buying this shit to join the wigger army. Good rap IS marketable, judging by how many people I know or have met that are suprised when they hear it.
