Good find. Very interesting. I'm sure war photographers have been doing that since the camera was invented. Matthew Brady was doing it in the War Between the States.
read about this a couple weeks back when rueters published those photos then removed them from their site and said that the photographer was a freelance and had no affiliation, though they had used him for years
