I'm not saying it's impossible to get gigs doing all original material, but it's a lot harder sell and closes a lot of doors for gigs that just need a house band to provide party music.
People generally like what they know until they get to know your band.

After may...ill have no body who is a close friend under the age of 19...so basically only way ill convince people to come to ottawa for it is if it sells alcohal lol.
