It is the Sigma AF 75-300mm F4.5-5.6 multi-coated. He said he used it on a N6006 (or he didnt actually say, but he is selling it with that and a Tamron 28-105MM), and that it SHOULD work on a Digital Camera. Ill have mine with me so wouldnt I just be able to toss the bastard on and see if it works?

I cant find a lot of resources online for lens help - and it sucks. All these lenses have different identifying letters and uses, and it would be nice to have a site or something that demonstrated or explained what each one does. I understand this increases the focal range, and should thus be able to get better far away and macro shots - but what about the dedicated macro lenses and what not. Thats the info I want to know about.
