Yes, you have a product from before GM's reconstruction. Their new lineup is basicly the 2nd most depndable brand of vehicles on the road next to Toyota.
srsly? 2nd most dependable?[/quote:241d0]

Yep.

They certainly lack in the fuel Economy sector of the market !(Ecotec Motors only get around 34 to 36mpg) But the Ecotec has proven itself, being insane performance wise, and being able to take a beating. The LSx series of V8's shows its versatility,(Vette Motor getting 25mpg + what ?!?) the Duramax IS the most dependable AND most capable Diesel motor on the road. Ill also take a Vortec over a "Hemi" anyday of the week. GM is so sure of their new technology, that they are putting an insane warrenty to go with it as well. THEY mean business. Bad moves threwout the 80's and 90's has cost them big time, and let companies like Toyota and Honda to grab Market share. (Honda has less then 10 % of the market in Japan, yet 60 % + worth of the subcompact market here in North America.)

*AND to anyone who beleives that the Big 3 should just "die" already.. Think again.. They are extremely important to both the Canadian and American economy.
