My comments were based on the preceived "Omg I dont get it - its so retarded" comments made by the OP - I didnt suggest that NOONE outside of the original birthplace of these fashion trends dont wear the damn things - simply that if youre a redneck or just not in an area tied to the fashion. . .of course its going to seem ridiculous to you. . .

Sure there are colleges everywhere, but does college culture affect the area it surrounds or vice-versa (Berkely and the lot notwithstanding).
