Yeah might be the engine, unreal tournament 3 supports physx in some levels, Then again for airborne im glad they went with gameplay over gimmicky physics features, they went all out for physics in PA and we all know how that turned out.


These tech vids always crack me up about pacific assault

tech video 3 in paticular where they proclaim "this technology will allow the player to roam within the natural landscape while not being restrained to predetermined directions".

LOL seriously wtf happened? Some of the tech vids actually looked good.

There was a rumour a while ago after they released the tech vids and started making the game they realised how hard it would be to let players go anywhere and had to strip mosta the new shit out and make it a bog standard corridor shooter. Wonder what the real story was there.
