G.I. Jerk":cda37]
=VonMeyer":cda37]I had a sound blaster live x Gamer on my Me compute r and now since i have XP it says my soundcard isnt compatibile with it? Even with new drivers?[/quote:cda37]

I have SBlive X-gamer 5.1 and it works just fine under Xp-pro. If it's XP pro you're using check and see if u have a DMA and/or IRQ conflict. If not I could send you working drivers for it. I used the "liveware 3.0" (for win2k... or my 4 speaker setup is reduced to 2) and it works just dandy.

Want 'em just ask.[/quote:cda37]

There's a group of guys who love XP so much that they have constant conversations about all sorts of stuff having to do with the OS. Anyway, that's their common answer to any hardware that doesn't work automatically with XP - use the drivers from Win2k. Von, if you can find the drivers for Win2k, or get them from G.I., then it might just do it.[/quote:cda37]

I run XP home edition. It says its not been tested for XP?
