Start -> Run -> type in: Regedit
Find the
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SystemFileAssociations\.avi\shel lex\PropertyHandler\
directory and delete the "DEFAULT" key ! ... Voila ! ... Explorer.exe runs at 0-1% on idling !

Click on an entry in the left hand box, then click edit and type systemfileassociations into the find box, only other thing i can think of =/
