Ipod is not a simple mp3 player. A solid state stick mp3 player is far easier. Plug it into a usp port, drag some music on in and your done. With an ipod you have to use itunes to do anything. Not to mention linking it with the computer can be a pain in the ass at times as i've heerd. Things like it compltly losing its playlist when connected, or just general itunes problems with playlist and loading shit onto it.

If i have the auto update check in the itunes folder it erases all your songs, so i just have to manually organize.

God damnit, i asked several people that question and they all said you had to use Itunes, so i was like "Fuck that". Now the real question comes in. Can you use it as a mass media storage? Say i want to bring 2 gigs worth of photos to my bros computer, can the ipod do that. Or what about things like Iso's.

I feel like I got screwed over after buying a Shuffle.

Could only afford it though, and its served me handsomely.

I have been thuroughly lied to.

Looks like al my qualms with the Ipod have been sorted, i may have to pick one up when i truly feel the need, or the nanos go down just a bit in price.

dont under estimate the player you have .... look into the ipod a bit more. its a wicked player ( sound quality ), but it doesnt come with many of the extras other players do. like ac power deal, extra battery ( theres no removing / replacing battery period ), you have to be at a usb comp computer to charge ... the 'dial' is a bit harder to use than the 'slider' type control of the zen (imo), etc. it seems like all those things included with other players ( the zen micro at least ) are expensive add-ons to the ipod.

those are the only things i cant stand about it .... and if they could affect the way you use it, you should stick with what you have or look into another.

i like the ipod much more than the zen micro.

over all the ipod seems to be the better player but you have to buy add-ons that come standard with the zen micro (extra battery and ac power deal). it really sux that you cant recharge the ipod without a computer ...
iPods come with an AC charger.... oOo:
christ i already made a similar post spank: ... mine didnt come with ac charger ( mini ), dunno about the larger ones ...
