Yeah I mentioned it to may parents once.

We were talking about "aquiring" games from the internet and said I got it from some guy on IRC and they asked me if I had an alias. I told them. I suppose its a little weird for parents because they didn't grow up with all this stuff. Most of our folks are 40+ years old and find it kind of disturbing that people freely talk to one another. Esecially since all they hear about the internet and chatting and such is people gatting arrested for molesting people they met and such.

Hell, If i were a parent i'd be concerned about my kid being on the net talking to strangers. I don't want a 50 yr old drunk pervert showing up at my house.
