UPS is sick.
They pay you like $8.50/hr starting out and after 3 months or something you get their benefits. And UPS insurance is 100% free. You don't have to pay anything out of your paycheck. It's leet. Buddy of mine works for em.

I heard the trick to being a delivery man is driving slow and taking your time, the longer you're out, the more money you get. biggrin:

You get bonuses for finishing early, though. Bonuses > regular pay
Plus, you're only allowed so much time over your schedule before you get written up.

Im intrequed by this UPS idea, though im not to interested in being a driver, since this is the seattle area and driving one of those trucks has to be a pain. I know someone has to load those trucks, but what time does that ussually take place. My job is acctually right next to a UPS depo and about 6 - 7 in the morning you get the flood of trucks heading out. So i assume its a night process, but do they also have a morning/afternoon shift?

It really depends on what kind of UPS place you work. If you have a hub in Seattle, they have shifts around the clock. If it's a truck loading spot, I think the shifts are a little different. But it takes years to be a driver anyway, you have to start out loading trucks.
