Last year for the November ceremonies, Brit version of Veterans Day, I was in the guard of honour for the Royal Navy. I had the whole funky uniform with a big black coat & white garters & a sa-80 with bayonet. We were marched to a huge WW1/2 memorial on a hillside & we had to present arms & wait for 10 minutes or so in respect to the fallen. Everyone was there, the press, admirals, veterans, the mayor & all these really really important people. I was in the centre of this guard of honour, there were only about 8 of us & OMG, did I have to pea! oOo: oOo: oOo: oOo: oOo: oOo: oOo:

I remember thinking to myself "OMFG im gonna piss my pants right infront of all these admirals and the fukin news cameras and the veterans, I can see the headlines now, Sailor pisses his pants on memorial day!"

Needless to say, I haven't taken part in any marching or ceremonies since that put me off big time rolleyes: I managed to just about get through it tho, I was shakin quite a bit, I just fixed my eyes dead ahead on the centre of the memorial & counted the time down.
